Very proud to deliver this successfully and just before COVID-19 restrictions were enforced, putting the network in the best possible position to be able to subsequently mobilise clinical and non-clinical agile working.Other key projects include:Virtual Consultations - managing the implementation of the Attend Anywhere platform immediately prior to COVID-19 which saw usage by clinicians escalate at great speed from approx. 6 consultations per week to 300 plus. Contacted by the Department of Health, as one of the most successful adopters of the technology, to advise of our experience to inform rapid national roll-out of the platform.Public WiFi - Trustwide rollout in acute and community settings of a WiFi solution - a 6 month project delivered in 6 weeks to secure £250k of funding.Digital Services department move - coordinating a seamless large scale move of approx. 120 staff and equipment moving across multiple sites on the same day.Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease app - working with a 3rd party supplier to build an innovative app for respiratory patients to manage their condition at home.VDI implementation in Outpatients and A&E settings.MS Office 365 stakeholder engagement and analysis.
Key achievements in managed projects:Led the procurement and subsequent implementation of a CISCO-based Trustwide Videoconferencing solution for clinical and corporate purposes incorporating room sets and agile devices. Enabled clinicians, for the first time, to attend virtually the Consultant-led 'Grand Rounds' - a monthly clinical forum - from their base site; consult with colleagues at other sites and patients in their home setting.Mobilised and managed a project team to deliver from scratch (including server commission, PAS integration into 3rd party solution, scanner installation, user training) a complete A&E patient notes scanning system in 15 days in readiness for the opening of Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital. Upwards of 1 million records now held in the system.
