The Office of Protocol provides leadership and coordination in the City of Ottawa's ceremonial, protocol and diplomatic activities in a politically and culturally sensitive and positive manner. This Office is responsible for a portfolio of events, activities and services that benefit, promote, celebrate or enhance the City of Ottawa.The Office of Protocol is the City’s primary liaison with the Office of the Governor General, the diplomatic corps, federal, provincial and municipal governments, military, civic, cultural, religious and community organizations on all matters of protocol.

Building and developing an extensive, relevant and professional suite of alumni programs at Carleton through a high level of commitment to the university, its students, the alumni association and its volunteers. A strong focus on development and management of the governance of the Carleton University Alumni Association, volunteer relationships, alumni recognition and awards, communications, mentorship and university partnerships and community building, including collaborations with academic and administrative departments and the global Carleton community.

The Carleton University Alumni Association serves as a link between Carleton University and its graduates. As Coordinator, I manage the business of the Executive Council, ensuring that alumni have a voice in key university issues. I also coordinate a worldwide network of 43 chapters and affiliates of the association in Ottawa and extending across Canada in major cities, the U.S. and overseas. These groups, run by alumni volunteers, provide great opportunities for social interaction, networking and volunteer service of all kinds to keep Carleton graduates in touch with the university and each other.
