Visual and information design for National Geographic Education

Responsible for leading design teams in the creation, concepting, and implementation of projects. Supervise design resources and concepts for projects that include staff guidance, project vision, graphic design, interactive design, and other creative solutions. Work with account leads and project management to ensure that project deliverables satisfy the client, go out on time and on budget, and support project goals. Responsible in part for the output and growth of the visual design staff.

Lead interactive designer for AOL Women's lifestyle sites, focused mainly on Health, and Diet and Fitness.Lead designer for the network special "Chief Everything Officer" - a successful online partnership with Dove and spokesperson Felicity Huffman.Lead designer and Flash developer for the Diet & Fitness franchise “The Fridge” with Jorge Cruise.Lead designer and Flash developer for America Takes It Off, a successful partnership with Good Morning America andeDiets.com, which received 18.5 million page views in January 2005, an increase of 50% over the previous year.Contributed to the design and build for AOL News and Elections 2004. As a result, AOL News ranked as the top news web site in 2004.

Created online branding and design solutions for a global full-service agency. Clients included Liz Lange Maternity, ExxonMobil, Maidenform, Nike, Toyota, T. Rowe Price and Mazda.Provided leadership and mentoring to other designers within the team.Served as lead designer on internal proposal efforts, including comp design and organization/editing of written proposals and creative briefs. Proposals included Black and Decker, Mobil Speedpass, HESS, National Geographic, Pfizer, Dupont Teflon, Nextel and Legg Mason.Designed and built the Flash multi-media presentation that won the Black and Decker account for Proxicom.Served as one of the lead designers for the company’s largest online client – ExxonMobil.com (included the ExxonMobil Portal, Exxon.com, Mobil.com and Esso.com).

 Design, wrote and edited the complete style guide for the ExxonMobil Portal and ExxonMobil Chemicals web sites.

Responsible for design and prepress of corporate identities, collateral, advertisements, direct mail pieces and tradeshow graphics for local and international businesses, as design for web sites and multi-media.
