***November 2007 – January 2008, SEIU for John Edwards, New Hampshire – Logistics (VAN) and Assistant Field Manager; coordinated staff and volunteer campaign activities, including member contact and general public contact, door knocking and phone banking scripts, campaign events and logistics. ***September 2007 SEIU Member Political Action Conference, Washington, DC – Logistics Manager; ***June 2007 SEIU Healthcare Founding Convention, Baltimore, MD – Logistics Manager and on-site assistance for a delegation of 40 union members and staff, including travel, lodging, ground transportation. ***July – November 2007 SEIU Healthcare 775NW field work for the 2007 Washington State election cycle – Campaign Manager, managed logistics (VAN), volunteers, and staff for campaign events, door knocking, phone banking, and campaign communications, including phone bank scripts and data analysis.***Spring 2007 SEIU Healthcare 775NW Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) – Campaign Manager; communications with membership and community groups and leaders to further awareness of the EITC. ***Fall 2006 SEIU (International) Florida Senior Voter Action, Florida Congressional District 16 – Campaign Manager; organized and led meetings with volunteers, community groups and labor leaders. Managed volunteers and staff, campaign events, campaign communications including door knocking, phone banking; and union member and general public contact. ***Spring 2006 City of Seattle Initiative 91 – Campaign Manager, with no paid signature gatherers, successfully gathered over 25,000 signatures in support of I-91, an initiative to stop the City of Seattle from continuing to subsidize professional sports teams with taxpayer dollars without a fair market value return on the investment to the City of Seattle. The initiative passed in November 2006.
