Marketing manager with twenty-five years experience in advertising, promotions, public relations and event planning. With a Bachelors Degree from the University of Kansas and a Masters from Austin Peay State University, I strive to continue to expand my knowledge base. I began my career working for the Lawrence Journal-World while still at KU in a time before internet and social media - what a difference 20 years can make! The majority of my time has been spent supporting our men and women in uniform as a Marketing Coordinator for for Morale, Welfare and Recreation at three different installations. In 2013, I challenged myself to go outside my comfort zone when I accepted a new position with K2 Solutions, Inc. My days were filled with finding new and creative ways to promote the special operations and canine business units of the company. In 2016, I returned to MWR accepting the challenge of the Marketing Manager position. I have returned to supporting the programs that support our Soldiers and their families. New adventures greet me daily!When I am not working, I am busy with three very active children who train and compete in wrestling, brazilian jiu-jitsu, and cheerleading.
