I develop learning solutions across all lines of service to meet business needs. Part of this includes finding the correct modality for delivery, which may include a blended learning approach. Some of the tools available to create digital learning include Storyline, Gomo, Captivate, GoAnimate, iPDF, simulations using BranchTrack and Quick Reference Cards. Responsive design is used to meet the needs of learners as we continue to write and adapt learning for an online audience.

Some of my responsibilities include design work, consulting, project management, managing of contractors and on-site support for our programs. I have worked on a variety of different programs, including the rollout of Workday for Talent Acquisition, our Discover program which is a milestone award program for Senior Associates and onboarding new hires through our Advisory Campus Program. I consult on a variety of different programs and work with other managers and stakeholders to determine the best plans of action for training programs and deliverables. I ensure all work is done effectively and efficiently to a high quality of standard by working with a variety of departments and people across the company to ensure content is built and designed to support the company goals and initiatives.

In this role I manage our 12 week Onboarding Program and create all of the curriculum materials, as well as manage all of the logistics for the program. I also manage our Sales and Retention 101 and 301 programs which are designed for both Affiliate Managers, as well as for those who have been with the company 9 months or longer. Twice a year we have Sales Summits where our entire sales force attends and we put together the content for both main stage as well as all breakouts to be presented. The audience is comprised of about 1,100 people. I work on a variety of projects, including one hour Webexes, 3-5 hour in-market trainings, and week-long training programs for specific audiences. One of my major initiatives coming on board with Cars.com was to implement The Challenger Sale methodology into all curriculum, as well as to roll it out company-wide through in-market trainings. I have experience working with a variety of departments and people across the company to build and design content which supports company goals and initiatives. I use a variety of resources to create materials including PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat XI for fillable forms, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop.

I managed and developed training programs customized for targeted audiences. Specifically, I was the lead designer for an Enterprise Sales Program which took 15 of the top sales representatives in the company and trained them on every product offered to sell to target accounts. Also, I worked with my team to develop and design a nine month Service Development Program focusing on skills, knowledge, and behaviors needed to provide excellent customer service. I was the lead designer on a Diversity and Inclusion Program to be implemented company-wide. This program was a three-phased approach that addressed employee development needs, specific situations within a location, and provided ongoing opportunities for leading by example. I was the lead designer on a five month Front Line Leadership Program where each month focused on a specific leadership competency and contained pre-work, a learning webcast, and post-work. I also created courses for a Print Skills Development Program designed for employees working in our manufacturing plants. All computer-based materials were developed to reach employees located across the country and training was created using a variety of instructional design methods and resources.

I managed, designed, and developed projects associated with business initiatives, operating priorities, and talent development of employees. This included the development of computer-based and print-based curriculum. I partnered with all levels of Learning and Organizational Development, Field Operations, and the Legal Department to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of training materials. Materials developed were designed to meet goals and objectives related to the success of participants and the company. Training programs developed were appropriate for the targeted audiences and incorporated varied instructional design and delivery techniques. Projects were managed on a variety of levels, including the coordination, submission, and distribution of final deliverables, as well as ensuring high quality material was delivered in a timely manner.

I developed print-based instructional materials for classes, seminars, workshops, and symposiums. I ensured that this material was instructionally sound and correct. I used my broad knowledge of educational theory and instructional design for developing and delivering technical curriculum. Frequent contact was made with subject matter experts, technical reviewers, and staff.
