I inherited three passions from my incredible grandfather – the love of life, the love of stories, and most of all the love of challenges. Over the past 17 years these traits have helped me thrive across the sport, not-for-profit, startup, and education sectors, whilst also launching several startups, becoming a Coach of Seth Godin’s altMBA and being a 2021 Scholar of The Marketing Academy I’m currently the Co-Founder and CMO at Wilderlands, a startup providing the simplest way to start protecting Australia’s biodiversity; one square metre at a time. I’ve previously worked for major organisations including Melbourne Connect, the Melbourne Accelerator Program, Blockchain Australia, World Vision Australia, AFL Players’ Association, and more. It’s been one heck of a ride so far, here’s a few of my proudest moments:— Led Marcomms to launch Melbourne Connect; a purpose-built $600m innovation precinct bringing together researchers, startups, artists, corporates & govt in the heart of Melb. — Co-Creator of Run India with ultra-marathon runner Samantha Gash – A 3300km run across India exploring the barriers to education for children, visiting the communities that World Vision works with and sharing their stories in real-time. The project reached over 50 million people globally and raised over $200,000, whilst also generating new partnerships with Nike, Lululemon and Polar, and has since become an award-winning documentary. In recognition of my role I received one of World Vision’s highest honours, the “Adaptability & Flexibility” award in 2017. — Coach of Seth Godin’s altMBA – after completing the altMBA and receiving the Abernathy Award as voted by my peers, I became a Coach of the global leadership program that has helped thousands of students from over 100 countries. — Co-Founder of Future Talent – launched Australia’s leading custom sports cards company which has now delivered over 200,000 cards for kids across the country. — Co-Creator of 22under22 - the first fan-voted representative team in the AFL industry, it is now a key part of the annual AFLPA MVP Awards and saw the first AFLW’s 22 team launched in 2020, receiving nation-wide media coverage. — Led Marcomms at the Melbourne Accelerator Program - ranked amongst the top 10 University-aligned Accelerators in the world it’s a home to some of the most brilliant emerging entrepreneurial minds in the country. I connect the dots better than most and love meeting curious people who are more obsessed with the why, than the how, so if this sounds like you, make sure you say hello.
