Responsible for the overall operations of WealthPlan Advisors, to enhance, ease and improve the efficiency of our Retirement Plan Consultants workflow and day to day interactions. Included in this is managing our internal systems, managing our third-party systems, and managing and implementing our internal processes and procedures that WPA employees uses every day. This also includes working with our partner vendors, overseeing a small staff of operational assistant employees which includes our marketing and social media personnel. Overall goal is to make our team as efficient as possible ensuring the best attention and quality is given to our retirement plan clients.

Nashville Metropolitan Area

Responsibilities include both new business development and consulting on existing book of retirement plan clients. New business development includes creating and developing centers of influence relationships in new Southeast market and marketing strategies to grow the WPA brand, generating and working with new prospects, including investment, plan design, and fee analysis and selling WPA services and solutions. Also responsible for molding and growing our new "small market strategy" as well as being ongoing consultant for this book of clients. I also serve as ongoing consultant to clients in our new region which includes investment committee meetings, plan governance, fee/investment benchmarking, managing the vendor relationship among many other day to day responsibilities.

Greater Nashville Area; Des Moines, Iowa Area

Responsible for increasing the Tennessee/Kentucky region’s retirement distribution pipeline by developing and expanding advisor, consultant, and third party administrator relationships. This includes presenting and closing deals with advisors and clients, educating financial advisors on our products and services, assisting external sales reps on pre-sale planning and presentation strategies, analyzing, developing and pitching investment portfolios and retirement plan mapping strategies to increase our Principal branded investment market share, creating/amending plan design concepts and provisions to increase plan effectiveness, negotiating plan fees with respect to share classes, advisor compensation, additional plan add-ons (Non-Qualified, ESOP, Defined Benefit etc) and suitability along with various other duties to help meet the sales goals of my external reps and my own personal sales requirements.

Des Moines, Iowa Area

Internal partner for our field agents in the market. Responsibilities included assisting agents with technical questions, policy comparisons and illustrations, policy/plan quotes, underwriting questions, along with various policy amendments and services.
