I am an experienced financial executive (CFO, VP Finance) with substantial operational experience as a General Manager and P&L owner. I have a demonstrated history in distribution, e-commerce, and B2B environments. I am a CPA with a BBA in Accounting & Finance from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.I began my career at PwC, working with various companies in Chicago, both large and small. This opportunity allowed me to manage people and lead teams early on. I then moved into management consulting, leading large-scale ERP implementations at process manufacturing companies.My first industry job was in food & beverage with Sara Lee’s hot dog manufacturing division. I then joined an internet startup during the dotcom boom, ultimately moving to FTD, the flower company. At FTD, I built out teams, processes, and technology for a reorganized division. I led the acquisition of Interflora UK and spent two years living in the UK, where I oversaw Finance and IT for this new division.Upon repatriating to the US, I led diverse B2B products and services businesses for FTD, including a membership business with ARR of $20M, e-commerce platforms serving 2000 florists, a $1B credit card payment facilitator, a $30M wholesale goods business, an advertising business, and an order fulfillment operation. I also assisted with the transition to new management post-bankruptcy.Recently, I served as CFO at a PE-backed $100M distributor health & wellness equipment and supplies, professionalizing the team, re-building the FP&A function, and developing a financial model and forecasting process that supported our refinancing efforts.
