• Managed cost reduction of $200,000 per/mth executed in plant department by off hiring hired equipment whilst maintaining mining productivity targets.
• Improved tool time from 9 to 10.25 hours by leading the implementation of a staging and kitting process.
• Improved machine availability from 79% to 85% by implementing scheduling and planning boards, a direct contributor to improved tool time.
• Managed execution of cost savings of up to $160,000 per month by implementing manning reductions due to productivity improvements (52 contractors removed from site) in addition to fleet reductions based on mining plan.

• Established the implementation of mining operations refuelling schedule resulting in 20% less downtime due to fuelling issues.
• Facilitated the implementation of maintenance scheduling and servicing strategy resulting in less tramming time on machines for servicing and increased tool time, greater reliability of machines.

Cameby Downs Mine - Queensland

• Managed operation and maintenance of 300tph wash plant facility, provided leadership of 25 personnel to achieve safety and planned throughput and costs.
• Managed Coal wash Plant Process improvement with the reduction in final product moistures from out of spec 14% moisture to within spec of 10% moisture with modifications to the coal centrifuges system.
• Managed the Bypass crushing plant by implementing screen change out on crushing plant from 30mm screens to 50mm screens resulting in 20% improvement in product sizing distribution with significant reduction in fines.

Burton Coal Project

• Managed CHPP operation and maintenance of 800tph wash plant facility and provided leadership of 36 personnel to achieve safety and planned contracted throughput at budget or better costs.
• Led the cost reductions of approx. $500,000 per annum through streamline operations – roster panel changes resulting in manning reductions.

Isaac Plains Mine - Mackay Coal Fields Area

• Managed the CHPP operation and maintenance of 500tph coal wash plant facility. Provide leadership of 31 personnel to achieve safety, planned contracted throughput at budget or better costs.
• Achieved 4 years LTI free by developing and implementing a Site All Action Register system which captured all incidents, hazards and process losses then assigning corrective actions, accountability and due dates.
• Implemented Hazard Management board in control room a visual tracking system for the workforce which increased feedback to employees on when hazards were rectified in the workplace reducing risk.
• Implemented Safety board at entrance to plant highlighting date of last serious incident, total number of plant inspections and safety meetings for month, LTIFR, TRIFR and month specific safety focus.
• Managed the standardizing of operational practises resulting in record production tonnes achieved through the plant.
• Developed and implemented formal documented daily performance review meeting covering safety, plant performance and next 24 hour plan resulting in consistent throughout & budget tons achieved.

Boyne Smelter - Queensland

• Supervised shift operation of 245 smelting pot line cells, 8 overhead cranes and 22 personnel, coordinated operations and maintenance schedules and managed crew budgets within plant budget.
• Implemented LEAN Manufacturing principles on the pot line - Resulting in 15% reduction in workplace injuries due to improved working conditions.
• Led team to achieve 4 years LTI free.

Lead Zinc Heavy Medium Plant - Mount Isa Queensland

Manage the Zinc filter Plant, Heavy Medium Plant, Tailings, Ore supply and feed preparation (crushing and conveying) operations. Cost Management of around $8 million per annum. Reports – 28 personnel.Key Achievements: - led the improved filter plant performance through a reduction in filter plant return product by implementation of maintenance management.

Copper Smelter - Mount Isa Queensland

Manage the Feed Preparation (Delivery, Filtering, Blending), Primary Smelting (Copper Isa-smelt Process), Copper and Slag separation including Slag Hauling operations. Cost management ($30 million per annum). Reports – 64 personnel.Key Achievements: - Managed successful implementation of automatic temperature control for the smelting process resulting in.
