I have over 20 years’ experience in Graphic Design, Technical Illustration and Visualisation across a broad range of media and industries. A significant proportion of my work has been the design and development of presentation graphics for use in presentations and reports of varying size and technical complexity. I enjoy the challenge of explaining complexity simply, visualising not yet realised concepts and finding the right solutions for the job.I have worked on large scale infrastructure projects; mining and engineering projects; renewable and traditional energy production projects; contaminated land assessment, remediation and waste management projects. This work has included the design of various explanatory technical illustrations and diagrams; development of detailed 3D computer models with rendered still images, animated fly-through/fly-over movies; physical scale models; production of multi-media presentations, document browsers for distribution on CD-ROM, DVD, and Online.I have also been involved in the design and production of large scale technical documents for submission to governing bodies and for public review, including expert witness testimonies in Visual Impact Assessments, plans and technical drawings for Feasibility Studies and Environmental Impact Statements as well as Stakeholder Consultation materials. Beyond contributing to the technical content of this type of work, I have also had the responsibility of designing and developing the aesthetics, layout and production of the publications consistent with corporate branding, styles and project identities.When I’m not at the desk or computer, I enjoy being behind the lens of my camera, capturing the beauty of our natural world.
