Heba Ali is a full-time Associate Professor in Finance, Department of Accounting and Finance, Faculty of Management Technology, the German University in Cairo (GUC). She received her Master and PhD degrees in Finance and Investment from Exeter Business School, University of Exeter, the UK. She has 10 years academic teaching experience in reputable educational institutions such as University of Exeter, the GUC and Cairo University. Her research interests focus on the areas of behavioral finance, corporate finance, risk, financial modelling, sustainability performance, the SDGs and equity issues. She published a number of papers in reputable academic journals, such as Journal of Cleaner Production, Emerging Markets Review and Journal of Behavioural Finance. She is the assistant editor of Management and Sustainability: An Arab Review. She is Certified Blockchain and Finance Professional. Her experience also includes two-years of professional work in the field of stock market in the areas of technical analysis and portfolio management. In addition, she organized a wide range of extracurricular activities including workshops, orientations and training. She also participated in the Egypt Economic Forum hosted during the Smart Vision 10th annual summit, and was awarded “2018 Excellence and Creativity Award in Economics and Business”, in addition to presenting at several international conferences.
