• Head the development of Human Resources function and practices to drive and maintain employee engagement.
• Lead talent acquisition and full cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, resume search, interviews and processing new hires, promotion, transfer, and termination.
• Create and implement Human Resources strategies and initiatives for the organization.
• Regularly engage and meet with leaders to discuss business needs, plans and solicit feedback on HR programs.
• Coach and support managers with performance issues including creation of performance management plans, talent assessment and development.
• Provide counsel to senior managers on issues related to employee relations, policies, discipline and terminations.

Toronto, Canada Area

• Reporting to the US Director of HR with a dotted line report to the COO, accountable for managing all national HR functions for the 500+ employee operation including Ticketmaster Canada, Live Nation Promotions and Live.
• Lead the administration of Human Resources programs and initiatives for all employees in the Canadian Operations.
• Deliver expert level coaching to executive team in areas of organizational design, coaching, talent assessment and employee relations.
• Lead and coordinate workforce planning and talent acquisition.
• Lead and support the delivery of HR projects, initiatives, processes to ensure the delivery of global and local HR and business priorities.
• Create and drive strategies to improve employee engagement through various group facilitation and communication methods.

• Work alongside business partners and consult on employee relations, legislation issue and performance management plans for all staff, including clear development plans for poor performance and High-Potentials.
• Lead change management and restructuring efforts including developing strategies around planning, communication and delivery.
• Manage talent assessment, related to new hires, supporting the business in hiring several sales, marketing and administrative employees.
• Partner with recruitment managers to ensure that all recruitment needs are fulfilled with the needed talent.
• Onboard new hires, providing an overview of policies and internal systems as well as total rewards program available to employees.
• Conduct exit interviews with departing employees to gain an understanding through their feedback of potential areas of improvement for the organization.
