My role covers:- Target ideation/tractability/prioritisation for I&I disease indications- Biology/target validation- Immunology lead/target champion for specific projects- Disease area champion supporting target ID, and development of disease-relevant translational in vitro assays - Assay development & tier 2/3 screening- Stakeholder management- Line management

My role responsibilities included:- Assay development at both early and late stages of drug discovery projects covering immunology and Immuno-oncology- Compound screening to support tier 2/3 screening cascade- Delivery and interpretation of immunology data to project teams- Supported a clinical program- Line management

PIs: Professor Holm Uhlig and Dr. Arian LaurenceThis fellowship was supported by Bristol Myers Squibb.BMS mentors: Dr. Luke Devey and Dr. Veer Shanmugasundaram Main project: Genotype-phenotype-structure associations of GP130-associated Mendelian diseases.Other projects include:- Investigation of patients with STAT3 mutations. - Investigation of epigenetic and post-translational modifications in altered STAT3 function downstream of the GP130 and IL-10RB cytokine families.Other responsibilities: - Coordinate multiple projects, 10+.- Establishment and extensive collaboration with multiple groups from academia and industry, both nationally and internationally.- Grant writing and recruitment of funding.- Manuscript writing - research work translated to 13 publications as first, second and co-author.- Regular presentations to both academia and industry partners. - Extensive experience with patient samples.- Supervision of students, clinicians, and junior staff.

PI: Professor Catherine Hawrylowicz Project looking to optimise protocols for the generation of IL-31 in human T cell populations, in collaboration with a start-up biotech company (academic-industry collaboration).

Worked in a microbiology lab and blood bank in the hospital helping with patient sample processing.
