I graduated Valedictorian from Pomona High School in 2005 and was honored with acceptance letters from many schools including Cornell, Brown, Columbia and Stanford, where I chose to enroll. The summer after my first year at Stanford, I was accepted to the prestigious Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Internship Program in Washington, DC where I was given the opportunity to meet promising young leaders and work on Capitol Hill. The following summer, I was awarded a competitive fellowship to design a community service project at a teen center in my hometown. In addition, during my third year at Stanford, I studied abroad in Chile where I completed classes on Latin American history and politics. During all four years at Stanford, I worked at the Psychology department. After graduating from Stanford, I enrolled at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. During my first year, I worked at the Disability Rights Legal Center. After my first year, I interned for the LA City Attorney’s Office and the legal department of the Los Angeles LGBT Center. After my second year, I worked for an employment law firm in Long Beach. During my third year in law school, I externed for a Family Court judge in Downtown Los Angeles. I graduated in May, 2012 after serving as the Vice President for Loyola's chapter of Outlaw, an organization dedicated to advancing the interests of LGBT law students. I served as the interim clinic managing attorney at the Inland Empire Latino Lawyers Association in Riverside upon completing and passing the Bar exam. Since then, I, alongside my sister Cindy Moran-Aguirre, have operated Moran and Moran, LLP, a family law practice. I am currently a member of the Riverside County Bar Association and the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Lawyers Association. We are a family law panelist for ARAG legal insurance and the Consulate of Mexico in San Bernardino.
