I am excited about developing my career in the field of Accounting and Insurance. My commitment is obvious as I continue learning and growing in the Accounting industry as I continue taking relevant classes. Most recently I received my ACI, many of these classes were accounting based. Prior to that, I took University courses including two Introduction to Accounting classes, two Intermediate Accounting classes, Auditing, and a Business law course. With more than 3 years accounting experience I continue gaining insight within the industry. The bulk of my job responsibilities revolve around reviewing financials for hundreds of companies, analyzing them for solvency, and ensuring compliance to Utah Insurance Law. Part of the analysis includes comparing many Ratios including Loss, Ultimate Loss, Expense, Liquidity, and Loss Reserve Capacity.At my current place of employment, during these last 5 years they keep asking me to represent the Insurance Department. This is because I am a dependable individual that makes respectable decisions and I am happy to be helpful. Some of the opportunities include active participation involving the employee contributions, Wellness Council for the Capitol Hill – current acting Vice President, and most recently I was asked to represent the department on the Marketing Committee with ICCIE.Before my current employment I was a small business owner and had the privilege to guide others with vision where we reached goals together. I was often found tinkering in Excel to better focus our efforts and understand trends. I am Happy, Helpful Heber and look forward to working with and for you!
