Working alongside a close group of peers, we converted a derelict warehouse on Deptford’s Creekside into an artist studio complex, currently providing space for nine practising artists and three writer/curators. We also operate a gallery space with a public programme of exhibitions and events. The project has recently been supported by the Creative Land Trust and Mayor of London.

Worked as part of the sales team pursuing both primary and secondary market sales, engaging new clients whilst maintaining relationships with current gallery clients, creating and managing sales marketing campaigns and sales targeting initiatives, and providing sales orientated support to both our operations and exhibitions teams.

Having been assigned to the Day Sale auction team I have been assisting with all aspects of the auction process, from research and cataloguing, to preparing information for clients and speaking points for specialists.

As the in-house writer and art historian for Bristol-based gallery and production house Fluorescent Smogg I have conducted promotional interviews with artists (published online), as well as writing copy for the website and press releases/promotional material.

I assisted in the set-up and running of the Kasso x Smogg ‘Disappear Here’ Bristol shop/gallery, as well as the accompanying group exhibitions 'Cosmogg II' (Nov 2017) and 'Spring Affair' (Mar 2018), gaining valuable gallery experience. I also assisted the gallery during a pop-up exhibition at Upfest Street Art and Graffiti Festival 2018 (Jul 2018).

I obtained the screening rights for the UK Premiere of the documentary 'Saving Banksy', and organised (w. Ed Bartlett) the ‘Arnolfini X The Future Tense’ weekend. My role included organising a live painting event (w. artists such as Blek le Rat, Ben Eine and Sickboy), moderating a live panel discussion and conducting a live Q & A with the film’s director, Colin Day.

Lonely Planet - ‘Street Art’ Guidebook (Published April 2017) : I worked as lead researcher and assistant to Ed Bartlett (author), responsible for the sourcing of photography, securing of image rights and acting as artist liaison. My contribution is personally accredited in the guide’s introduction.

Alongside my university studies, I was employed as the manager of RedSpot Self Storage’s Bristol location, with full responsibility for running the depot.
