Serving on the contract negotiation committee has provided me with insights into the intricacies of work agreements, ensuring that all parties involved are on the same page. This role has taught me the importance of clear communication, fairness, and finding win-win solutions.Union Steward:As a union steward, I've been a voice for the workers, ensuring their rights and well-being are upheld. This has taught me the importance of advocacy and standing up for what is just. It's been a rewarding experience to bridge the gap between labor and management, fostering a harmonious and productive work environment.ACI and ICC Certification:Recently, I achieved a significant milestone in my career by obtaining certifications from the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and the International Code Council (ICC). These certifications have allowed me to specialize as a special inspector for reinforced concrete. I'm now equipped with the knowledge and expertise to ensure that concrete structures meet the highest quality and safety standards.Quality has always been at the forefront of my work. I firmly believe that every construction project should be built to last, and my role as a special inspector allows me to uphold this commitment. I take pride in my attention to detail and dedication to ensuring that concrete structures are not just functional but also safe and durable.In my 8 years in the industry, I've learned that it's not just about bricks and mortar; it's about building communities and creating spaces that stand the test of time.
