Responsible for building and delivering rover release mechanism for VIPER (Volatile’s Investigating Polar Exploration Rover)

Design, analyze, and test hardware.Projects worked on: Orion Docking Hatch, LAS Hatch, EM-2 Side Hatch, xEMU, VIPER

Remodeled Large Aluminum and Composite Hard Upper Torso (HUT) and created flight drawings for these parts. Performed detailed tolerance analysis to ensure all parts that interface with the HUT fit.

I quoted jobs for customers that came to the shop by carefully studying the drawing and speaking with the machinists to come up with a reasonable estimate. My role then led me to create detailed work orders which summarized the job for the machinist.

Understand and inventory all Centerline Berthing Camera System on storage. Remove duplicates and consolidate material on to SharePoint. Create an update knowledge review for DX2 personal learning CBCS.Create study material to help DX2 students visualize ISS from “God’s Eye” view and ISS Cameras. Identify cameras, structure and MSS reach capability and create quiz material for DX2 students  Following the Generic Robotics Training flow, OJT real time and simulationsLearn functions of WIF adapter, graphically model scenarios where WIF is used, analyze impacts of leaving WIF and coordinate with EVA and Engineering to recommend a solution/implementation

Designed and developed the Displays & Controls Console for the Orion Medium Fidelity Mockup (MFM)Developed the MFM design blueprints through flight model observation, measurements, mockup study, stress analysis and machinist guidance Presented successful design concept to Orion Cockpit Design Team for acceptance review
