-Formed part of EU MDR project to ensure compliance with new EU MDR standards for the Mechanical Heart Valves manufactured at the Abbott, Caguas site. As part of this role, I have done the following:-Execute Investigation Method Validation (IMV) Protocols and write and submit associated reports.-Create equipment specification documents for equipment associated with the mfg. process-Draft and submit for approval Master Validation Plans (MVP) and Master Validation Reports (MVR) -Coordinate with R&D, ME, QE, and Regulatory Affairs representatives for document approvals.-Write and execute Process Performance Qualification (PPQ) protocols and reports.-Review and approve documents in the CMMS system.

Structural team member of Orbital Flight II Project. As a team-member, my responsibilities are:-Designing and manufacturing dummy loads for mechanical testing of CubeSat.-Creating Standard Operating Procedures for Shaker Table Equipment-Creating and updating Gantt Chart for Structural Team Activities

Worked in the intraocular lens pilot line. My responsibilities included:-Drafting and executing Installation and Operational Qualifications on lens cleaning equipment.-Developing and updating validation document templates to support a Six Sigma Black Belt project.-Performing process requalifications for lens initiation and casting.

Engineering COOP experience as a process engineer in suture attachment, winding and packaging. Responsibilities include:- Controlled Document revision in Change Management Platform (ADAPTIV)- Installation Qualification and Computer System Validation documentation and execution in response to Corrective Action & Preventive Actions (CAPA) and Non-conformities (NR).-Equipment design changes in response to CAPA Actions.-Optimize mechanical components utilizing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques.- Part of Cat. 5 Hurricane Recovery Team. Validated swaging/winding automated equipment for Alternative Manual Operation.

RUMblebots is a project dedicated to the advancement of the sport of combat robotics in Puerto Rico by designing and manufacturing combat robots in the 3lb., 15lb., and 120lb. categories.

Internship experience at a small-scale workshop that produces for the manufacturing sector. Here I was introduced to Machining Centers, EDM Wire Cutters, and other automated manufacturing techniques as well as how to program these machines with MasterCAM X software. I also had the opportunity to visit large-scale production sites where Lean Six Sigma approaches to flow and standardization are practiced.
