Responsible for supporting TIGO, a communications network provider in Guatemala, on the management, performance and functioning of a signaling monitoring system manufactured by RADCOM, an Israelite company. This signaling monitoring system was basically "shunted" to the active and redundant links among all nodes on the core network, from voice communication nodes (msc, bsc, rbs) to data communication nodes (routers, switches, gateways, firewall), for tracing the connection process between the caller and the called parties.

In charge of monitoring and managing the GSM, CDMA and UMTS (3G) access network assuring availability and correct functioning so users can access the provider services any time. Coordinat activities with field engineers and coontractors for solving network concerned issues.

Project planning, prioritizing and executing by working with Operations and Quality Assurance managers, Site acquisition and Civil Works Managers and Contractors, to organize and lead a matrixed project team maintaining a clear communication regarding mutual expectations to develop the TDMA network growth thru locating, building, equipping and linking new cell sites. Generate required project documentation identifying project goals and tasks and generate assignments consistent to meet objective based on traffic statistics, and intensity of coverage signal. (Software tools employed: geographic information systems GIS, and signal strength predictive software.)As Telecommunications EngineerKeeping and improving the wireless telephone network signal thru frequencies assignment, switch parameters, drive test data acquisition, configuring cell site antennas topology, modifying and testing hardware. Also supervising and hiring contractors services for executing the former tasks.
