CMM Operators play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of manufactured parts, and their responsibilities are essential for maintaining high standards of product quality in various industries such as aerospace and manufacturing.- 7 Years progressively complex machining experience.- Understanding of Machine shop principles, concepts, regulations and practices.- Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, digital bore gages, indicators, etc)- Strong analytical ability- Knowledge of GD&T.- General CNC Programming experience (G and M code)- Strong Computer Skills (includes Microsoft word, Excel, Access, and Power Point)- Knowledge of SAP (sapphire program)- Experience setting Up/Operating/Trouble-shooting CNC lathes and 5 Axis Machines ( Doosan LYNX 220 LSY, NLX 2000/500, Doosan Puma 2600SY II, CUTEX 160A, Mori Seiki SL-250, Mori Seiki SL-25, Mori Seiki CL1500, Mori Seiki SL-1A.- Knowledge of Keyence- Knowledge of CMM ( Z-CAT )- Perform First Articles, in Process Parts.-Trains quality personnel on proper process execution.-Assist in the investigation of problems and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.- Leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating work loads to meet established deadlines and milestones.-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Deburring and custom made tooling.- Hand chucker experience
