Hector has completed mandatory military service under the Singapore Armed Forces in 2020. His main role was an Admin Support Assistant under a Manpower HR Department, assisting his superiors in data management, succession planning and rewards management for military personnel under the HQ 9th Division/Infantry. He attained a Corporal First Class rank during his two-year service which can be only received by nomination and approval by superiors and the board respectively.He has a vast experience of hospitality and customer service, briefly working as a Banquet Server in luxury hotels at Singapore, including Shangri-La, Hilton and Fairmont, for wedding services, corporate dinner and dance services and conferences. He is currently working as a server at the E.Tea bubble-tea store at Northlakes Westfield.He is currently studying a Bachelors Degree of Information Technology, majoring in Information Systems and minoring in Business Essentials and Business Intelligence. He is expected to graduate by the end of 2024 and aims to work in roles involving data, analytics and business analysis that achieves business goals and objectives upon his graduation. In his final semester, as Project Manager and Team Lead for an AR Briefing Tool Capstone project, he gained experience in business analysis and project management frameworks, including requirements elicitation, risk management and sprint planning. These experiences have equipped him with a solid foundation to pursue a future career in Business Analyst and Project Manager roles.
