Hector advised clients to develop major infrastructure projects in the oil & gas, power, petrochemicals, energy efficiency, mining, navigation and maritime commerce sectors, including the engineering, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance activities regading such projects, under any private or public procurement scheme, including PPP's. He provided legal advice and assistance in connection with real estate and infrastructure due dilligence for several companies, including title search reports, land use and zoning permitting and other activities related to the development, acquisition, sale or lease of real estate. Mr. Medina also advised clients to understand the maritime regulatory framework in Mexico to operate vessels and other naval artifacts in Mexican waters, through different schemes and alternatives, focused but not limited to the oil and gas industry. Due to the nature of his practice, Hector Medina advised clients in their participation in some of the most important projects in the energy sector, particularly related to the Mexican natural gas pipeline transportation infrastructure, power production and recently in the Round 1, Round 2 and farm out series of tenders called by CNH to award oil and gas E&P contracts.
