CurrentAn organization whose mission is the design and construction of alternative energy vehicles that break world records.World’s Longest Range Electric Car, Mila (Project 2) – Project Manager / Systems Engineer • Attempting to break the Guinness world record for greatest distance traveled on a single charge • Led and organized 12 subsystems comprised of 30 total members • Developed, organized, and enforced all vehicle requirements • Worked on topics including batteries, electric motors, hardware systems, and vehicle structures • Allocated tasks and checking in daily with each subsystem • Focused on managerial topics like timelines, budgets, sponsorship relations and safety documentationWorld’s Fastest Solar Powered Car, Dawn (Project 1) – Lead Electrical and Software Engineer • Attempting to break the Guinness solar-powered land speed world record• Led the design, testing, and integration of the electrical systems, both low and high voltage systems• Led the software team in implementing CAN bus DAQ logic for the vehicle’s communication system• Developed the solar car’s design using SolidWorks and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)• Produced and tested a quarter-scale carbon fiber wind tunnel model to validate the CFD data• Led the drivetrain system team and the integration of the upper to lower shell attachment system team• Manufactured and integrated the entire solar car’s composite structure
