In charge of Geotechnical department at Newman Operation. Responsibilities included:- Structural geology to update the structural geology model, applying the information into kinematic stability analysis, hydrogeology and drill and blast designs.- Promote and support the integrated work between site and planning Geotech to a better implementation of controls and follow up of the design after excavation.- Control owner of Ground Failure fatal risk including Design Execution. Projects managementof leach pads construction. Manager of special projects in high risk areas with the implementation ofappropriate risk controls. Responsibilities included:- Management of 25 people between engineers and technicians.- Managing a high risk mining project involving 150k ounces of gold.- Development of geotechnical pit slope assessment.- Cost management of capital and operational budget.
