Vet surgeon in charge of a 950-milking-cow farm with over 2,400 cattle, including steers, followers and calves. Performing Management, Routines (fertility, PDs, etc.), AI, Obstetrics, Herd Health Planning, Pathology, Surgeries, etc.

Providing vet service to over 12,000 cattle and 2,000 horses in fattening and finishing units. The role involved Herd Health Planning, Medical treatments, Surgery, Farm management, Post-mortem diagnosis, etc.

Working for E&J and on behalf of Food Standards Agency (FSA), the role involved carrying out post-mortem inspection of carcasses and offals at several abattoirs of England and assisting the Official Veterinarians in other duties such as hygiene and animal welfare controls.It provided me a very good background in post-mortem inspection in all species: bovine, ovine, porcine and poultry.
