Previously a lawyer on the International & Special Legal Affairs Division of the Directorate of Central Bank Regulations of Banco de México (Mexican Central Bank) for three years, participating in the negotiation of free trade agreements, bilateral investment treaties and other international documents, as well as advising on the relationship and interaction of Banxico with other international commercial & financial institutions, obtaining vast experience in banking and financial regulations.
