Entrepreneurial academic driving innovation on engineered biobased structures for high performance buildings that are climate neutral, healthy and regenerative.I work at the interface between industry and academia, teaching the new generation, leading businesses, raising funds and carrying out scientific and applied research on biobased building materials. I have also led the construction of 30+ low-carbon new-builds with the right balance of conventional construction and natural materials including bamboo, timber and straw.
