In charge of overseeing production processes mainly in the interior signage realm.Responsibilities include:- Parsing and making work order copies for the various departments such as routing, lasering, painting, digital print and vinyl application departments.- Receiving and accounting for components made in the metal fabrication shop or outsourced to vendors.- Components and products were inspected to check quality and to verify specifications including but not limited to dimensions, material type, finish, color, etc.- Read and understand work order and proof details. Review and proceed or flag any conflict or potential problems.- Produce a requisition list of materials and supplies as needed but before the lack or supplies become an emergency.- Installation of sign products in-house as needed before completed products go out the door such as pin mounted dimensional letters to monument signs, large format graphics to substrates, acrylic sign faces to light boxes, etc.- Prep of 28x48 and 30x96 paint trays with sign components for wet spray painting. Each batch needs to be prepared, protective masks removed, edges sanded, washed and information clearly written on each tray.- Assembly and QC of interior ADA signs. Processes involved include: application of 3M 467 full coverage tape, registration and assembly of tracking components, raised tactile character application, braille bead inserting and double sided tape for final mounting to various surfaces.- QC and wrapping of work order packages for shipping or installation.Besides being a production supervisor my skill set has been utilized in the following departments:- CNC/Laser Department. Routing mostly acrylic and photopolymer materials. Drilling holes for braille. Lasering dimensional letters and components for signs.- Graphic Design Department. Making proofs in CorelDraw.- Installations Department. I was sometimes scheduled to go out on installation of interior signage and window film graphics.
