• Produce engaging and informative signs, social media posts, website updates, logos, and other public relations materials, and designing layouts for the library’s quarterly newsletter.• Schedule social media and website posts.• Coordinate digital marketing with all Library departments.• Assist in various special outreach projects, including the creation/design of a Makerspace department/room, Sensory room, Mobile Service Van, Telehealth booth, strategic planning, and other initiatives while working with outside organizations such as Abbott, Consumers Credit Unions and many more.

• Design and plan diverse activities/programs in the makerspace for patrons of all ages and abilities- Digital Media Lab, 3D Printing, Laser Engraving, Sewing, Other tools and services. • Train staff and patrons on and provide support for makerspace related equipment and activities. • Track and create reports based on makerspace usage, establish performance benchmarks, gather and analyze statistics. • Write procedure manuals and guidelines for makerspace equipment and activities. • Maintain inventory and supplies within the makerspace. • Handle money accurately, including collecting, counting, giving change and recording transactions.

• Create, sustain, identify opportunities to build relationships with community partners including government offices, schools, community groups and local organizations. • Identify pressing social issues impacting Auburn Gresham neighborhood and explore relevant solutions that serve to address systemic education, economic, health and other disparities in Auburn Gresham. • Collaborate with staff to create and manage marketing and promotional materials and work with the Communication Department for timely submission for website and newsletter information.

• Updated and maintained Healthy West Chicago’s social media presence, including daily monitoring, posting, scheduling, and reporting on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter.• Update Healthy West Chicago’s website regularly and design flyers, graphics, and other marketing material.• Implemented a new marketing strategy through sustainability content• Prepare weekly reports and create a comprehensive database of targeted businesses and community organizations.
