Hector G. Rodriguez was responsible for fulfilling the economic components (collecting, designing, analyzing and creating environmental-economic models and tools) of several research projects. He reported to the Area Director, Agricultural Economics, for the Division of Agriculture, Center for Agricultural and Rural Sustainability at the University of Arkansas. During this time, He successfully completed six different projects while performing data analysis using economic models, statistics, and risk assessments. He reported findings and key results to internal and external stakeholders. Achievements:·Provided support for the development and submission of six successful research projects valued at $2.3 million.·Collected data, managed databases, researched and analyzed emerging economic and environmental policy issues to assist in decision making of six research projects.·Conducted and facilitated project-specific deliverables such as focus groups, survey design, data collection and analysis, literature reviews, evaluations, report-writing and stakeholder engagement meetings of two research projects.·Prepared and distributed summary of statistics, reports and project updates to internal and external stakeholders of six research projects.·Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams from diverse research institutions to integrate policy research and policy evidence into solutions facilitating complex decision-making activities for six research projects.·Disseminated and reported results of six different government funded projects by publishing six peer-reviewed journal articles, two books chapters, five paper abstracts, 23 posters, two production manual chapters, and five interactive tool user-guides.

Hector G. Rodriguez was responsible for the writing, submission, and execution of successful research grant proposals. He reported to Area Director, Agricultural Economics, for the Division of Agriculture, Center for Agricultural and Rural Sustainability at the University of Arkansas. During this time, He successfully completed three different water quality projects performing data analysis using economic and statistics modeling while reporting and presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders. Achievements:·Provided support for the development and submission of five successful research projects valued at $1.0 million.·Fulfilled the social-economic components of five research projects by performing quantitative and qualitative research.·Conducted and facilitated project-specific deliverables such as focus groups, survey design, data collection and analysis, literature reviews, evaluations, report-writing and stakeholder engagement meetings.·Interacted and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams of nationally and internationally recognized economists, statisticians, engineers, and research specialist to accomplish research goals for three different projects.·Developed, analyzed and interpreted complex inter-related economic-environmental models for three projects. ·Disseminated and reported results of five different government funded projects by publishing three peer-reviewed journal articles, two research papers, six paper abstracts, 12 posters, and over 50 presentations.

Achievements:Collected and reported coffee production data for over 100 coffee grower producers. Interpreted production patterns and provide suggested management action plans for coffee production in two different municipalities.Submitted accurate and timely required monthly reports to measure impact of production efforts during a period of four years.
