Mobile Art Disco (MAD) is an itinerant urban art gallery on a mission to programme some of London’s most inspiring exhibitions around playful (and occasionally attention-seeking) themes in prominent central London spaces.Conceived as an alternative to existing, exclusive and everyday spaces, MAD will dance to a different drum –engaging in old-school, tub-thumping self-promotion whilst bringing together banging new artworks from the most engaging artists –and always with a wicked sense of humour and a welcoming smile.

Launched Cult.Brand in 2012 as the production/programming/PR vehicle for The Proud Archivist.Additionally, produced original concepts for EMI/Blur (Blur21); Vogue100 @ Burlington (Meyer Bergman) ; Paddy Power (World's First Bet in Space); The GOAT Sneakers Exhibition (with Lyst); JLL (Biscuit Festival); Amazon.co.uk; The Instagram Photography Awards 2018 & 2019 (with Photobox); This is Britain, The People's Beatles & The Crown from the Crowd (Photobox); Some Corner of a Foreign Field (CWGC/Photobox); and The Samsung Eureka Rooms exhibition. Ongoing consulting projects inc Poet in the City and Rankin Photography alongside the initial development of four creative ventures during the pandemic: Mobile Art Disco; the Rock 'n' Roll Wall of Fame; AudioVisceral and PR Mums - all to be incubated from within a relaunched Idea Generation.

As run-ups go, this will take some beating..On October 22nd 2013 - one year, eleven months and three days after we embarked upon the project - we finally launched The Proud Archivist, our brand new cafe-culture-restaurant-bar-event space in Haggerston / De Beauvoir Town (Shoreditch/Dalston/East London to the rest of you.)We decided to call it The Proud Archivist for a mixture of reasons - part homage to my father (historian; author; walking-encyclopaedia; and congenital collector of things); part reference to the breadth of our interest & cultural programme; and part play on the family name in-a-way-that-will-hopefully-not-flummox-Google’s-SEO-algorithms-with-my-brother’s-bars-clubs-and-restaurant-group.It's very much a sequel venue to the Idea Generation Gallery - and, like all good sequels, it’s bigger, better and all-round brassier – replete with 800sf of library; the longest light wall in London; a stunning restaurant with an even more stunning menu conceived & delivered by the most stunning chef this side of Peckham; and a gorgeous mezzanine overlooking the Regents Canal and it’s varied wildlife (human and otherwise).Come visit.
