As the Founder and CEO of EcoGoodz, my goal was to create an environmentally conscious business that helped bridge the divide between the excess products produced in the United States and the availability of affordable goods overseas; particularly in developing nations. In 2019, EcoGoodz shipped over 50 million pounds of product globally. + Created proprietary software that helped the company manage B2B sales, logistics, pricing, and predictive market trends. + Assembled the executive team responsible for making EcoGoodz one of the leading brokers of used commodities in the United States. + Established supplier relationships with the nation’s leading charities and thrift stores. + Developed long-term partnerships with International wholesale companies on 5 continents.

As CEO of ThriftBooks, my primary focus was growing our company to become the largest used book retailer online. During my tenure, we grew from a small storage unit in Kirkland, Washington to 10 large distribution facilities in 10 states. Today, ThriftBooks employs over 900 dedicated team members and sells over 50,000 books a day. + Created the sales division and book-buying model that brought in over 200 million pounds of books a year. + Designed the operations process which allowed our employees to efficiently process, catalog, retrieve, and ship out book orders. + Established all of our national and international online marketplaces which helped us expand our brand domestically and globally. + Developed a national recycling program which transformed our cost centers into profitable revenue streams. + Formed our corporate philanthropy arm which pledged 10 million books to nonprofit organizations to help fight illiteracy around the world. + Designed the national library program that helps raise funds for many public libraries in the United States.
