Since moving to Svalbard in the Arctic in 2018, I've had an unbreakable passion for the frozen parts of our world - both as a researcher and guide.I have studied Arctic Geology (BSc) and Glaciology (MSc) with the University of Oslo and University Centre in Svalbard, specializing in remote sensing and spatial analysis.Alongside my studies, I have also worked as an expedition guide at sea in the Arctic and Antarctic, and as a snowmobile guide locally on Svalbard.Today - I specialize in climate science communication and work on a daily basis with science outreach, in addition to/ ssimultaneously as working as a guide.The Living Ice Project co- founder: https://livingiceproject.com/mapA collaboration between four dedicated and highly educated glacier and climate scientists with research objectives/ collaborations related to climate change impacts.Our overarching aim is to bridge the knowledge gap between global climate change and glaciers globally.One of my greatest professional accomplisments is co- founding a glacier monitoring Citizen Science project named GlacioGlobal which has been successfully executed through the expedition cruise industry the past two years. The GlacioGlobal project is one of great importance, involving citizens in the science of monitoring glaciers globally, and has great climate change impacts educational value. The project was established in 2021 together with Erik Schytt Mannerfelt (Phd) from University of Oslo/ University Centre in Svalbard.
