10 week in-person internship where I assisted the PIPGAS team by improving certain aspects of their everyday functioning.I coded a desktop tool as well as a web portal to fetch, add, edit and delete certain important data from the internal database as well as validating new data being inputted.I set up a real-time monitoring system that detected changes to workflow objects and upload them to a MongoDB Cluster, replacing an earlier periodic job.

I oversaw the inductions of junior system administrators by taking an active part in setting tasks to evaluate their capabilities, taking interviews, organising a CTF etc.I took charge of the Festember Server, a legacy server, and deployed several applications on it over a span of 9 months as well as initiated the practice of maintaining documentation of servers, including how each project was deployed on it. I also lead the team to revamp the server, taking backups of everything in the server to migrate to a newer server. This process also involved taking static backups of all websites hosted in the server to reduce the load of hosted archived sites in the newer server.I led the Arcadia project - a browser game inspired by GBA Pokemon games, which involved extensive planning from the ground up. Arcadia: Rivals is a 2D open world browser game where the player collects”Minicons”, forms a lineup with them and fights against other players’ lineups. I handled the overall game structure and several core features as well as took charge of the overall gamedesign and its many moving parts and character design. I also assisted heavily in most other core and supporting backend features as well as coordinated with other teams to ensure a smooth running of the game.I took charge of responsibilities like lateral inductions, the initial phases of the induction process, reviews for junior developers and maintaining an organized list of upcoming events and activities through a team calendar etc and assisted with other initiatives like HackerTalks and overall club functioning and smaller initiatives. I was a member of the Programming Club of NIT Trichy, responsible for development and maintenance of the university’s official website and infrastructure needs for student-community organized activities and festivals. As a system administrator, I was tasked with additional duties like deployment of various applications, server maintenance and ideation & execution of Capture The Flag challenges.

As a senior marketing manager, I handled all the responsibilities of a deputy marketing manager as well as additional responsibilities like handling my own sub-team responsible for contacting targeted sponsors for smaller isolated events. Festember is one of the biggest cultural extravaganzas of South-India with a footfall of over 17k+ students from 500 different colleges and over 55k social media reach. Under the marketing team, I was responsible for contacting renowned brands and organizations to collaborate with Festember, to pitch branding initiatives and obtain sponsorship and funding from those companies.

Aaveg is the inter-hostel cultural and sports festival of NIT Trichy, for and by first years. I was a part of the organizing committee wherein I was responsible for ideating and conducting various events as a part of the fest.
