Jesper Hedin is a 3D Artist at Cortopia AB. He possess expertise in 3d modellering, game development. Colleagues describe him as "Jesper is one of those rare 3D artists with an interest in the technical side of game making. He is ideally suited for a team with expertise on the artistic side but lacks the link between the artists and programmers. I had the pleasure to work with him at Bublar (now Goodbye Kansas Group) for two different projects, one of them during a performance-critical period where we were short-handed and faced a critical deadline. In those projects, I would do the concepts, Jesper would model and paint the first draft before sending everything back to me. I would review it and provide written feedback with visual aids for him. Due to Jesper's vision and analytical skills, he was able to do what my feedback asked. But what impressed me most was that he didn't just repaint the textures; he would find and build a set of actions or even a software pipeline to replicate those solutions for future art assets. Some of those solutions became indispensable, like, for example, for our game's ground textures. This successful back and forth allowed us to implement work quite fast and have working game prototypes in no time. Another situation where Jesper became indispensable was when we needed SFX for our games. Jesper took the lead and learned pretty quickly how to create SFX in unity. My hat is off to you!
