About Hedley Phillips

I've worked in IT for over 25 years, starting back in the days of dial-up when websites loaded line-by-line and printers took up a room all to themselves.Experience includes working for the BBC on their Bitesize website, creating interactive touch based front end displays for Mobile Phone EPOS terminals for Hutchison 3G. Building interactive Maths Flash games for the Cambridge University NRICH Project and various server and hardware support roles including Zonal EPOS terminals (if you’ve been in a pub in Edinburgh, you’ve seen their tills).In 2009 I started Digital Essence with the aim of providing high-quality, mobile responsive websites that not only look good but just work. I also provide hosting services for customers.
