Detta innebär politisk påverkan på alla styrningsnivåer, koordinering mellan och samarbete med många olika aktörer samt forskningskommunikation.Är även i nära kontakt med Naturskyddsföreningens folkrörelse som samordnare för vårt klimatnätverk, vilket innebär att stödja våra medlemmar i deras påverkansarbete runt om i landet.

Jag ansvarade för att bemanna kansliet under sommaren, vilket bland annat innebar att bedöma hur mediarapportering om Klimatpolitiska rådet under perioden skulle bemötas. Arbetade även fram en djupgående kvalitativ och kvantitativ analys av mottagandet av rådets granskningsrapport 2021. Denna gav underlag till planeringen av lanseringen av kommande rapport.

I was an integral part of the team of 4 people that led the work to create a digital report launch event of high quality and with broad reach. This involved coordination with contractors, the Council, and the team at the secretariat. I also worked with the Council's international exchange project together with Climate Change Policy Councils in Chile and the UK. The aim was to exchange best practices with councils in both the Global North and South and to create a network for future collaboration.

Part-time administrative work for the Department of Pedagogical, Curricular and Professional Studies (Institutionen för didaktik och pedagogisk profession, IDPP). This included transcribing interviews for research being conducted at the department, which required me to be efficient, maticulous and to deliver on time.

I was part of the team that worked with an Erasmus+ exchange project on environmental management systems (miljöledningssystem) at universities in Europe and Latin America. Together with a collegue, I also initiated and carried out a project to involve students in the revision of Gothenburg University's sustainability certificate for courses.This experience gave me experience in working with sustainability issues at an administrative authority and hands-on experience in how to implement Agenda 2030 in a large organisation.

Havana, Cuba

Coordinating the work of all actors related to the project, which include the Cuban ministry of culture, the Cuban centre for sexual education, the Swedish Institute, the Nordic Council of Ministers and the Norwegian Embassy in Havana. I initiated the project and ensured its funding, which was by the Nordic Council of Ministers, the Swedish and Norwegian Embassies in Cuba, Sida and the Swedish Institute. The film festival was carried out in 4 provinces of Cuba, with local ownership of film discussions by LGBTIQ+ activists in each province. The activists also took part in 2 workshops, wherein they were capacitated on the themes and how to communicate LGBTIQ+ issues to and with the general public. I was in charge to see that all deadlines and budgets were met, that the logistics of each leg of the festival ran smoothly and of the administration. I was also responsible for the two workshops, which I conducted in close cooperation with the Cuban centre for sexual education.

Havana, Cuba

My main assignment was to write monthly reports on the current economic, political and social situation in Cuba. These reports were used in the evaluation of foreign policy at the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I also did research and updated the Embassy report on the local Human Rights situation, as well as the reports regarding Cuban politics and economy. On my own initiative I conducted a study on the situation for the Cuban LGBTQ+ community, which was part in expanding the Embassy's knowledge of the topic. Further, I spearheaded the creation of a LGBTQ+ film festival for which I was able to obtain substantial funding. I also used the opportunity to get acquainted with the ins and outs of working at an embassy and within Foreign Policy. This meant taking part in designing and planning cultural events, answering enquiries from the Swedish and Cuban general public and managing the embassy's social media accounts. The work was mainly conducted in Spanish and Swedish.
