I helping people and organizations adopt two generational approaches to moving families out of poverty by increasing family economic security and promoting early school success. A major current focus is managing an applied research project on chronic absenteeism in early elementary school. Supported by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, this project is examining the causes, consequences and potential responses to missing extended periods of school in grades K-3.
