Full responsibility for the entire Human Resources function as well as performing all duties as Safety Committee Chairperson.  --Managed the administration of Health and Dental Insurance, including COBRA, Life and AD&D, Short and Long Term Disability--Responsible for Federal and State Regulatory Compliance, Worker’s Compensation and Loss Control Program.--Hiring responsibilities included recruiting, screening, interviewing selected candidates for executive, exempt and non-exempt positions, as well as processing new hire information--Developed and maintained job descriptions for the purpose of training, goal setting and performance appraisals. --Developed new hire orientation program which included safety training, company policies and documentation.--Responsible for OSHA reporting and adhering to OSHA compliance requirements.--Conducted and coordinated monthly safety meetings; maintained training records.--Responsible for processing the automated weekly company payroll. --Interfaced between employees and union; communicated with union to resolve issues.
