• Maintained and established C2C12 myoblast line in 3D gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA)-based hydrogels. Proved that C2C12 cells retain high cell viability and differentiation capabilities into myotubes in a 3D environment.
• Maintained and immortalised Porcine Satellite Cells (PSCs) through 2 methods. Lentiviral transduction of SV40LTag or hTERT, and treatment with SB203580, successfully extending the stemness of PSCs while maintaining.
• Characterised immortalised PSCs with a series of cell assays, including wound healing, proliferation, cell adhesion and differentiation.
• Cryosectioned and prepared 3D GelMA hydrogel samples for analysis under fluorescence microscope.
• Performed PCR, molecular cloning and gel electrophoresis to generate plasmids of interest for lentiviral production.
