Schreyer Honors College is the honors college at Penn State.

Conducted research under Dr. Jordan Bisanz at Pennsylvania State University. My project focused on the role of bacteriophage in modulating gut community composition and function by looking at community diversity and metabolic output. I have had the opportunity to present my work at Penn State's Undergraduate Exhibitions in 2023 and 2024 as well as at the One Health Microbiome Center's Microbiome Symposium. I also had the opportunity to work on other projects involving the absorption and bioavailability of metals in the gut and how this mechanism is modulated by the gut microbiome. Specifically, I looked at the effect of methylmercury on the microbiome and observed there is a community dependent toxicity in vitro.

Hosted weekly review sessions and office hours for students. Composed review session questions and exam questions and gave feedback on how to encourage student engagement.

Conduced a 10-week research project under Dr. Nicole Belle at the University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Gastroenterology. I conducted my research on the effect of the receptor LINGO2 in regulating the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and their role in intestinal epithelial healing .
