I am a QA Automation Test Developer with about 4 years of experience which includes Automation and Manual testing mainly for Web based applications. I have a bachelors degree in Information Technology and have completed my post graduation in Information Technology Solutions from Humber college. Over these years I have had an opportunity to work under various environment such as Software Development life-cycle, Software Testing life-cycle, Agile and Waterfall.Especially, with Agile process gained strong skills of management, work responsibilities, team work by participating in the daily scrum meetings, review/demo meetings, grooming sessions, modifying user stories, managing sprints etc. As a QA developer, Initially I started my career as a manual tester where I was preparing the manual test plans and test cases using Test Rail and Testlink based on the business and the software requirement provided by the product owner. Then I Gradually move on to Automation Testing which was mainly based on Web based Applications and client server Applications. To write and Automate the test cases I was using the various tools such as Eclips as an IDE, Selenium , Java, TestNG, JUNIT, Maven , ANT, SoapAPI. I have worked and developed the frameworks from scratch for example Page Object Model as a Data Driven Framework and Cucumber as a Behaviour Data Driven (BDD) framework. All the test cases were automated using the automation server like Jenkins. Where I was also creating jobs for smoke ,sanity and regressions testing at nightly for continuous integration and Git as a version control.Along with developing frameworks I also have a decent experience with handling database by using queries written in MySQL to fetch data and perform back-end testing. We used tools like JIRA and Bugzilla to track and report bugs and we used JIRA for agile project management as well. On top of that, I also possess hands on experience of web services testing like SOAP and Rest API with the help of tools like SOAP UI and Postman. Hence, throughout the course of my career, I have for a large part worked on web based testing which includes GUI Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Performance Testing, Stress Testing, Functional Testing and Unit Testing.
