About Heewon Park
I am currently a podcast director at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. After completing one year conducting policy research as a James C. Gaither Junior Fellow, I was promoted to direct Barbecue Earth, a six-part podcast series that explores the intersection of meat, climate, and geopolitics. I obtained my B.A. from Swarthmore College in Political Science with an emphasis in international relations, and minors in Statistics and Peace and Conflict Studies. In the future, I am interested in opportunities to apply my research, foreign language, and audio production skills to explore the fields of journalism, policy, and/or international development.
