Senior Technical Solution ManagerNike Oct 2019 - PresentShanghai, ChinaAs the technical leader of GC finance domains, I oversaw the solution delivery of finance apps across LER2R, Order-To-Cash, Source-To-Pay, FG+C teams. In addition, as part of Nike global technology team, I also manage the last-mile delivery of global solutions. Key projects:FDEI VAT-in and VAT-Out: Fully Digitized E-invoice project. To comply with the regulatory requirements, Nike needs to change their invoice-related systems to the new FDEI standard. The project was divided into two phases: input part and output part. There are 3 main challenges:The complexity of local invoice systems landscape. The VAT input part covers two systems, 200+ branch stores and 3 headquarters. The VAT output part covers both business-to-business and business-to-consumer parts, including 8 business scenarios and 5 applications, impacting 2 separate legal entities. We need to apply for two NS for the two legal entities involved. The NS application process might not be done by the time the system goes live, so we need a temporary solution.SEC: Nike SAP S4/HANA implementation project. Nike Enterprise has switched their ERP system from ECC to S4/HAHA, which affects 9 local finance applications that interact with the ERP system. My team has to move all those local applications to connect to the new SAP system. The cutover was divided into 3 phases: ramp-down, blackout, ramp-up. The challenge is that all 9 local applications have to finish the cutover activities in a planned order along with global applications without gaps and send/receive new data to support the business process.FWS: finance workflow system. This is a system that I created from scratch. Nike has a Matrix organization, which means that stakeholders from different business domains collaborate on decision making. To support the internal reviews and approvals, I came up with a generic workflow system to enhance the operational efficiency.
