I have been in the insurance industry for over 30 years and during that time, my goals have been to create an environment where people can be themselves, enjoy coming to work every day and most importantly, create an environment where the employees of Heffernan Group are given the resources and tools to best serve their clients’ needs. My aim is to ensure that we provide our clients an innovative, responsive and most efficient method of transferring risk. By effectively utilizing our products and services, our clients are able to run their own businesses and truly be successful. Many of the employees at Heffernan Group are not simply co-workers, but people I call close friends. I thoroughly enjoy coming into the office every day and continuing to build a company culture that creates enthusiasm as well as gratitude. It’s a place to not only work, but a place that gives back, a place that supports education, a place that puts family first, and a place where people can have fun. When I’m not at the office, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching Giants baseball games, spending time with my kids, boating in the San Francisco Bay, exercising and paddle boarding in Lake Tahoe.I serve as a board member for the Heffernan Group, Heffernan Foundation, Socius Insurance Services, Tangram Insurance Services, Santa Clara University Board of Regents, Immaculate Conception Academy Cristo Rey, Oli, Patra, Flock, OSD, as well as Costero. I previously served as a board member for Friends of the Infant Parent Program (FIPP), Collective Impact, Vision of Hope, Sierra Therm, and PreCare.
