Portfolio Manager
Current• Oversees a portfolio of over $70 million in funding for a diverse array of public health and human services program initiatives funded through the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC DOHMH) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and administered by Public Health Solutions to community-based organizations, hospitals/healthcare facilities, and other similar entities • Orchestrates all management and monitoring activities related to each program initiative within the portfolio, including but not limited to planning, implementation, programmatic and fiscal performance, and compliance with relevant laws, agreement terms and conditions, and internal/external policies• Strategizes and directs all contracting and other procedural workflows, optimizes existing procedures, identifies and develops creative solutions to complex problems for the team, division, and government partners• Manages and mentors a team of Contract Managers, Senior Contract Managers, and Contract Support Analysts in administering all aspects of the contract management lifecycle; Ensures effective coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders; Fosters a spirit of teamwork, inclusion, and unity to enable individual and team successes• Collaborates with Finance and Legal Affairs departments to manage grant and program budgets, fund allocation, program development, contract procurement, payment, risk assessment, and compliance for the portfolio • Cultivates and manages relationships with internal leadership, external stakeholders, and contractors; Represents Public Health Solutions in external settings related to the portfolio𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: Pioneered the newly established General Contracts Unit alongside the Senior Director; Facilitated the concept development, procurement, and launch of three new City-funded initiatives, as well as a new federal funding stream and its associated awards.
