The Trail ConservancyA 501(c)3 dedicated to protecting and enhancing the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail at Lady Bird Lake. We work in cooperation with the Austin Parks and Recreation Department to close the gap between what the City provides and what the Trail deserves. As CEO Heidi is the key management leader of The Trail Foundation (TTF) responsible for overseeing the administration, projects, programs and strategic plan of the organization. Other key duties include fundraising, communications, marketing, and community outreach.

Responsible for overseeing and facilitating all fundraising and communications efforts of the Hill Country Conservancy, supporting both ongoing land conservantion and the Violet Crown Trail. Specific responsibilities include all things related to raising $13,125,000 for HCC's 2014-2017 capital campaign. Additional responsibilities include staff management, budgeting, financial tracking and reporting, strategic planning, assisting with day-to-day operations, board and committee management, grant writing, public speaking, volunteer coordination, event planning, and community relations.

Created a comprehensive strategic plan coodinating all marketing and development efforts for the School's Annual Fund Campaign, increasing the goal from $775,000 to $1,000,000 in three years, and raising parent participation from 44% to 88%. Additionally, coordinated campus-wide events, volunteer activities, and family hospitality.

Owned and managed a business engaged in public relations and marketing, event planning, writing and fundraising for clients including the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, Citadel Communications, Waterford Properties, Devon Energy, and others.

Responsible for all public relations and promotions state-wide including corporate partnerships, media relations, and department management.

Resposible for all functions of the foundation, including fundraising, budgeting, staffing, volunteer coordination, event logistics of the annual Redbud Classic, board management, promotions, and media.

Coordinated donor appreciation events, VIP luncheons, a national cross-country bicycle tour and multiple educational programs. Secured funds for and coordinated ongoing public awareness media campaigns. Managed blood donor programs for more than 100 accounts, including the University of Oklahoma, and spoke publicly on behalf of the Institute for audiences as large as 10,000 people.

Responsible for programming and organizing various projects, committees, and volunteers for the annual Festival of the Arts, Opening Night, and other Arts Council projects and events.
