I manage and organize activities, events, and projects for the Eileen Lappin Weiser Center for the Learning Sciences in collaboration with the Director and the Steering Committee. I oversee and coordinate programming and communications for this interdisciplinary feminist research institute. My primary responsibilities include programming, event planning, and communications. This includes planning public events, workshops, and other programs for IRWG in alignment with unit priorities, and communication to unit faculty, staff, affiliates, and the general public about news and research updates through writing, editing, and producing newsletters, website stories, and social media content.I have a 35% appointment as Project Coordinator and Academic Counselor for the Student Opportunities for AIDS/HIV Research (SOAR) Program. SOAR is funded by a five-year grant from the National Institute of Mental Health and the Office of Behavioral and Social Science Research, National Institutes of Health (1R25MH126703-01). In this role, I provide student advising and coordination for all aspects of the program.
